Registration for the 2022-2023 season is now open.
 
Each participant during the 2022-2023 season will need a new USA Hockey registration, which can be obtained after April 4, 2023 at www.usahockeyregistration.com.
 
This year FYHA will be instituting a credit card processing fee ($50 for full season, $35 for half season) which will be due by September 1st.

2022-2023 Jersey and Socks

Order Jersey and Socks for 2022-2023 Season for U8 Travel through U14 Travel teams only.

Franklin Flyers have two jersey (blue and white).

If you're a new mite (U8 travel player), new to FYHA in Mite/U8 through Bantam/U14 agre classification or returning player who out grew their jersey from last season, you will need to order two jerseys.

For returning players, please purchase a new blue uniform (purchase a white jersey only if you need a replacement or it does not fit).

For new players, a fitting will be scheduled in late April/early May.

2022-2023 Learn to Skate

The ONLY Learn to Skate program affiliated with the Franklin Flyers.

 

FYHA’s Learn to Skate is designed for beginner skaters, including boys and girls with limited to no skating experience.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Learn to Skate is open to residents of Franklin and surrounding communities, ages 3-9.

WHEN IS LTS?

Learn to Skate begins early November and ends mid-March - exact dates will be determined by September. Each session runs from 12:00 – 12:50 p.m. at Pirelli Veterans Arena in Franklin.

WHAT IS THE COST?

Tuition is approximately $225. For insurance purposes, registration with USA Hockey is required also required. The fee is based on birth year and ranges from $15 (2016 birth year and younger) to $61 (2012 birth year). 

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED?

All participants are required to wear a certified hockey helmet and bring their own skates. (Bike helmets are not permitted.) To allow your child to comfortably fall while learning how to skate, we also recommend gloves, elbow pads, shin pads and a neck guard.

All skaters, regardless of age, must register with USA Hockey.

The confirmation e-mail can be forwarded to the registrar at registrar.fyha@gmail.com prior to the first session or must be brought to your first Learn to Skate Session.

Please note that when registering your skater, the registration system will first ask for parent information.  Once the parent info has been submitted, you will be then able to enter your skaters information.

The ONLY Introduction to Hockey program affiliated with the Franklin Flyers.

 

Little Flyers (formerly FYHA’s Intro to Hockey) is an instructional program that offers young athletes, ages 4-9, an opportunity to try the sport of hockey at a low financial commitment.

The ONLY Skills program affiliated with the Franklin Flyers.

 

FYHA’s Skills Session is designed to provide additional opportunity for the players in our
program who want to supplement their regular practice schedule with individual skill work. 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Players currently registered for FYHA U8: Gray, Blue and White, U10 Black, Gray, Blue and White, U12 Gray and GU10 teams.

WHEN IS SKILLS?

The first ten sessions will be held weekly, beginning September 25th and continuing until November 27th . Teams:

·         Session A: 6:10 – 7:00 p.m. - U8 Gray, U8 Blue, U8 White, U10 Black, U10 Gray, U10 Blue, U10 White, U12 Gray, GU10

 

The remaining seven sessions will be held bi-weekly from December 4th through March 5th during the 6:10 – 7:00 p.m. slot. As is the case every year, our ice availability will change a bit. The expectation is that teams will be split as follows:

·         Session A : U8, U10, U12 Gray and GU10 – 12/11, 1/8, 1/22, 2/5, 2/19, 2/26, and 3/5.  No session 12/25.

Tuition is $255 for 17 Skills Sessions
