The Junior Panthers is a hockey club under FYHA, in partnership with the Franklin High School Boys & Girls Panthers, which gives our U8, U10, U12, and U14 Flyer Travel Team players access to play additional weekly competitive games close to home, with friends, in a low-risk and fun environment. 

The Junior Panthers play teams in the South Coast Hockey League throughout the season.  Our goal is to provide our members with additional weekly playing time, to develop their skill and grow a love for the sport, at a very low cost to them.

Start your development into a high school hockey career with the Flyers and Junior Panthers!

• Open to all current Franklin Flyer Travel Team players at the U8, U10, U12 and U14 age groups - no tryouts, all who wish to play are welcome!
• Inaugural year tuition discounted to just $200 for full time Flyer players and $300 for alternate Flyer players, no hidden fees
• Jr. Panthers jersey, helmet stickers, and car magnet provided
• 20+ games in the competitive South Coast Hockey League, playing approximately 1 game per week to supplement the Flyers Travel Team schedules
• Focus on fun to develop skill and a love for the game
• Team outings to FHS Boys & Girls home games
• Consistent schedule and light travel to play with friends, with minimal or no conflicts with Flyer Travel Team schedules
• Stay close to home with half of the games played on home ice at Pirelli Arena
• Option for a team day trip to Martha's Vineyard for a hockey jamboree (ferry and island bus transportation provided)
• A competitive youth club of local friends and classmates, that is a direct feeder into the high school programs

AB Hockey Development Summer Camp

For our players looking to fill some summer weeks with time on the ice to further develop and tune up for the upcoming season, check out the AB Hockey Development Camp on Martha's Vineyard!  There are 2 weeks available in July and August, do one or both.

AB Hockey is founded by current Umass Lowell Riverhawks associate head coach, Andy Boschetto.  The program is founded on fun and competition with on and off ice lessons.  The perfect opportunity for the players who are also students of the game!
